Meet our owner

I didn’t set out to own a painting company, it found me. Growing up in California by way of my deep southern roots in Louisiana and Alabama, my family has been shaped by hard work and hands-on skill: painting, stone masonry, farming, and fishing. At seven years old, without any reasoning, I painted my bedroom a bold monochromatic red, an early “sign” of my fascination with creating spaces that feel alive. Fast forward to my young adulthood, where sports became my main focus. However, painting always found its way back into my life. I got the opportunity to continue my education at Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2015. The idea was new but continuing adventure to pursue my dream of professional sports and further my fine arts education. My then girlfriend Brittany and I packed our stuff and moved to Colorado. At first, it was “Rocky” and the growing pains of transplants into new territory hit us at every turn. However like every fairytale, it did not end the way I initially believed my story was supposed to be written. Over the years, my path led me through different peaks and valleys including collegiate sports, corporate roles and even an extensive career in portrait photography. But, about 6 years ago, while working as retail General Manager, I got an opportunity to assist a General Contractor on a local home project. It was out of the blue, but at the same time everything came back in focus. The timing was random and I was juggling managing retail management and now interior painting. But when I picked up a brush, I instantly felt the energy that has always been there. It was worth it and it wasn’t about applying paint or the money, it was about transformation, craftsmanship, and the sense of pride a beautiful space can bring.
